Pete Thomas (American Football)
Peter Alan Thomas (born October 11, 1991) is an American college football coach and former player who is currently the Position coach, quarterbacks coach for the Cincinnati Bearcats football, Cincinnati Bearcats. He was a three-year starter at Valhalla High School (El Cajon, California), Valhalla High School in El Cajon, California and earned various All-State honors. He began his college football career at Colorado State Rams football, Colorado State, where he was the team's primary starter from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, he was the only true freshman in the nation to start all of his team's games at quarterback. He then transferred to NC State Wolfpack football, NC State, where he Redshirt (college sports), redshirted in 2012 and was a backup in 2013. After the 2013 season, he transferred to Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks football, Louisiana–Monroe and was the team's starter in 2014. Peter Thomas, OCarm (1305–1366), also known as Petrus de Thomas or Pierre de Thomas, was a French Carmelite friar, preacher, and teacher. He was entrusted with a number of diplomatic missions by the Holy See. Thomas was canonized by Pope Urban VIII in 1628. Life Peter Thomas was born around the year 1305 to a very poor family in Périgord. His father was a serf. At the age of twelve, he left his parents and his younger sister to ease the burdens on his family and went to the nearby small town of Monpazier. He attended school for about three years, living on alms and teaching younger pupils. He led the same type of life at Agen, studying at the College of the Carmelites until the age of twenty, when he returned to Monpazier briefly, before going to Lectoure. Peter John Kay (born 2 July 1973) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and director. Born and raised in Farnworth, Kay studied media performance at the University of Salford and later began working part-time as a stand-up comedian. In 1997, Kay won Channel 4's '' So You Think You're Funny'' contest, and the following year, he was nominated for a Perrier Award for his show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With his public profile raised, Kay co-wrote and starred in the Channel 4 mockumentary series '' That Peter Kay Thing'' (2000). Peter Addenbrooke Thomas (June 28, 1924 – April 30, 2016) was an American announcer and narrator of television programs and advertisements. Possessing a "smooth and silky baritone" voice, Thomas enjoyed a career spanning more than 70 years, and was best known as the narrator of the television series ''Forensic Files''. Early life Thomas was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. His father, John D. Thomas, was a Welsh-born World War I veteran and pastor of Pensacola's First Presbyterian Church. His mother, Sybil A. Thomas, was a schoolteacher originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Peter John Mitchell Thomas, Baron Thomas of Gwydir, (31 July 1920 – 4 February 2008) was a British Conservative politician. He was the first Welshman to become Chairman of the Conservative Party, serving from 1970 to 1972, and the first Conservative to serve as Secretary of State for Wales, holding that office from 1970 to 1974. Early life and career Thomas was born in Llanrwst, where his father was a solicitor. He was educated at the village school, and then Epworth College in Rhyl, before reading law at Jesus College, Oxford. He joined the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1939, on the outbreak of the Second World War. Petrus Thomae ( 1314–1336), known in Catalan as Pere Tomàs or anglicized as Peter Thomae, was a Catalan Franciscan philosopher and theologian. He was an eminent Scotist who died while in prison on charges of sorcery. Life Peter was born in Catalonia around 1280. He joined the Franciscans in the province of Santiago de Compostela. It is unknown where he was educated. The universities of Paris, Toulouse, Cambridge and Salamanca have all been suggested. He may have studied under John Duns Scotus.
